
I have been taking classes and training with Luiz for about 18 months and I have seen remarkable progress in my flexibility and strength. His classes are demanding and for people who are serious about their training. The classes are always different but well planned and thought out and he takes into consideration the needs of the participants. I enjoy the atmosphere of the studio. It is very dimly lit with no windows and feels comfortable and safe and doesn't have that feeling of being in a fishbowl. I developed a sudden onset scoliosis about 2 years ago and I credit Luiz' classes and training with keeping me able to work and keep up with all my other activities.
I would recommend Luiz Mota to anyone who has the determination to work hard, you will see results! I have been in Lu's class for about 5 years and my torso has undergone some major reformation. His hot yoga class is the best. The yoga poses are challenging but doable. There is a lot of variety in the way Luiz presents his classes so it is seldom repetitive. The music is cool to me and it changes style too. Some days there is no music at all. The atmosphere changes and I find that inspiring.

I have been training with Luiz for 3 years and I have seen more results in those 3 years practicing yoga, then I have seen in the last 30 years from weight training! Luiz is an amazing instructor, his workouts are challenging and I love that about his classes. Luiz cares about each client and really takes time to make sure you are getting the right workout for your own body type. He is very knowledgeable about the anatomy, and he knows when a certain body part is injured and applies the right yoga moves for that injury. I can attest how much Luiz cares by the phone calls I receive from him when I miss a class. I drive 1 hour to attend Luiz' class, that's how good he is. He makes you feel like he is your own personal trainer!! I am hooked, yoga for life with Luiz!

I have been taking the new class that Luiz is teaching, Suspension Coyopa Yoga for about 4 weeks now. I love it! I haven't been able to really work up a sweat like
I used to in Luiz' Hot Yoga classes due to rotator cuff injuries/surgery and a knee replacement. Now, with the suspension straps, I can get my heart rate up, challenge and strengthen all my muscle groups, and have lost weight. This class also helps improve your balance. As with Luiz' other classes, the content and sequence is fresh and well planned. It has felt great training again!

This studio provides a place to strengthen and to heal. I've benefitted from Luiz's excellent teaching and practice in Thai yoga and Thai deep tissue bodywork, and as a private instructor. His classes are dynamic and are a great workout, for the body and for the mind. His expertise in the human body and mind-body connection is particularly useful for folks dealing with injuries and chronic illnesses. I'd highly recommend his class, which I have experiences as transformative.

Yoga is very intimidating to me because I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was a
child. It is amazing to me how much better yoga is with the heat and "ropes". The
teacher really makes it a great workout and I can feel myself get better at it even by
the end of class. I recommend you try a class!!
