Mota Thai Yoga (Mota-X)'s Response to COVID-19
When Mota Thai Yoga is open for in-person classes, below are some changes that we have made to keep our yoga community safe:
Class Changes:
Studio Additions:
Students should bring:
Before class:
- Students must pre-register for classes on Mindbody or on MTY’s website.
- Students/teachers must keep 6 feet distance apart at all times while in the studio.
- Class sizes will be smaller to make sure that people can physically distance during class.
- The iPad in will no longer be available for studio sign-in. We will check you in at the door.
Studio Additions:
- The studio will have individual "yoga pods" for students during yoga classes.
- These yoga pods are divided by curtains on two sides to separate each student.
- Within each pod, students will keep their belonging with them. (Cubbies in back will not be available.)
- Each pod will be equipped with hand sanitizer for student use.
- Restroom available for emergency use only.
- An Ozone Machine (Airthereal MA10K-Pro Generator) will be regularly used to clean the air in the studio.
- We will be using a HEPA Air Purifier with UV light filtration.
- Hand sanitizer/soap will be available throughout the studio for student use.
- There will be no sales of water bottles or filtered water available. Faucet water will be available.
Students should bring:
- A mask (masks will be required at all times in the yoga studio)
- A yoga mat
- Other optional items for class such as water bottle, towel, and/or props
